ATTACK OF THE TWENTY-SOMETHINGS

In homage to ELLE's 25th anniversary, our favorite twenty-something stars are gracing the individual collectible covers, and also dropping a few words of wisdom they learned during their first quarter of life. As a girl lumped into this same age group, this celebration of the twenty-somethings hits a chord for me. Lots has happened in the past few years, lots have been learned, and so so so much more is left to be experienced. My friends and I are allll struggling right now. Yes, we have our degrees. Yes, we HAD jobs. Yes, we did our fair share of internships (gosh I had SO MANY). Yes, we loved. Yes, we lost. Where to now? Not quite sure. I just know we're all going SOMEWHERE.

If I were to be interviewed for this issue of ELLE, my quote would be:

"IT IS BETTER TO HAVE MADE A MISTAKE AND LEARNED FROM IT, THAN TO HAVE REGRETTED NEVER MAKING THE MISTAKE AT ALL."

Here's to the next twenty five.

 CAMILLA BELLE
"I'm both young and old. My mom told me,
'Don't grow up too quickly; once you're an adult, you'll always be an adult"
AMANDA SEYFRIED
"The best thing is, I'm happy.
The worst thing is that I'm scared --
the scariest thing is that I know it can't be easy--the years to come."
LAUREN CONRAD
"It's your time to be selfish;
you still have freedom."
 MILA KUNIS
"Jump out of a plane!
In your twenties, you're still very courageous."
MEGAN FOX
"It's like when you're 16 and order a martini, and the waiter says,
'do you think I'm stupid? '
They can't grasp that I'm old enough to be married.

Marriage? Me? Hell no. Not in this decade. But everything else these ladies said, yes, I second that.
